More Breakfast at Tiffany's

These teeny fondant cupcake toppers were made for an Instagram friend. I'm hoping she likes my fondant style. Personally, I think they're adorable!

TIffany Summer Splash Party!

These cookies were made for my BFF Laura of Laura's Little Party! Laura had a Tiffany Summer Splash party for her daughter this past weekend. There were so many tasty treats at this fun party and these cookies were my sweet little contribution to the dessert table! They're a shortbread cookie topped with fondant. They were yummy!!

Sam....The 5th Beatle

Yes there IS a 5th Beatle! His name is Sam and he turned 5 years old on May 17th!

This is Sam! Isn't he the cutest little thing? He wanted the "real" Beatles to be at his birthday party! His grandparents bought him a drum set! He is REALLY good for being 5 years old! Remember his face, he'll be famous one day!
Sam's birthday party was a Beatles theme! Here is the fondant cupcake topper that I made just for him!

We were invaded by yellow submarines! Aren't they adorable, and they tasted amazing too!

Here are a few songs that Sam wanted to hang as a banner at his birthday party.
These are the guest party favors. They're a short bread cookie with an edible image and a royal icing border.  Very yummy if I do say so myself!

Breakfast at Tiffany's

My daughter's Sweet 16 party is coming up and we've decided to do a Tiffany's theme. I made these cookies in honor of my daughter's party, but honestly, with 100+ kids invited to this party, there is no way that I'll be making these as party favors! They're nice to look at though and really yummy, they're a shortbread cookie with royal icing.

Wreck It Ralph

I had fun making this Wreck It Ralph cookie! I must admit that I was a bit ambitious on this one! The detail is so teeny tiny and although he's so darn cute, I would probably never make him again! I really am such a kid at heart and I love Disney movies, but my kids are grown now and don't really want to watch them with me anymore! I did talk my sixteen year old into watching this movie with me and she loved it! I ran out to Target today to buy it so now I can watch it whenever I want!

13th Birthday

This birthday teen likes the color purple, mustaches, zebra print and Justin Timberlake! These  fondant cupcake toppers were fun to create. Of course my inspiration was Justin Timberlake's 20/20 Experience blasting in the background! Happy 13th Ashley!

Friendship

I baked these I Love Lucy themed cupcakes and fondant toppers for my BFF and childhood friend Karen. When we hang out our day usually ends up like a Lucy episode!

Ties and Tutus

I made these little cuties for my dear friend Laura's gender reveal party. These were just a few of the sweet treats at the party! Thank you to Laura's little Party for including me in her special day. Once the gender of the baby was revealed, we found out, IT'S A BOY! I look forward to meeting little Dylan in July!

Ladies and Gentlemen....

Introducing ELLIE! Isn't she precious? She serves absolutely no purpose other than she's completely adorable! She even has her crown in lights right behind her!

I created Ellie out of paper mâché. You would never know that underneath her beautiful exterior she is just a ball of newspaper and masking tape!!

Thank you to Laura's little Party for the photo shoot and her inspiration!

Let's Party!

This chalkboard is one of my very favorite things,
it makes me hApPy!
My hubby made it for me when I absolutely "had to have it!"
Isn't it fun?
I set it out for all of my parties or as a welcome sign on my porch. :)

Let It Be....

What? This? Oh nothing... Just an edible image that I whipped up! Yes, its edible.  Getting ready for an upcoming Beatles party.

Bling!

I love my sweet little pink chalkboard. But what I love even more is the little "blinged" out eraser that I made! Just thought I'd share!

Valentine Fondant Cupcake Toppers

Okay, how stinkin' cute are these! This was my first real attempt with fondant and I think I've found my  new love! It's kind of like playing with Play-doh, except you can eat it! Thank you to Laura from Laura's little Party for featuring these little toppers in her Vintage Valentine Party shoot!

Here are a few different cupcakes that I've made.
I think presentation is everything!
Little clown cupcakes with fondant stars. The stars were cut out with my Cricut Cake machine.

Halloween Pumpkin Bars with spooky spiders!!!

Nightmare Before Christmas

I'm new to this whole blogging thing, but I figure if I can't beat 'em
then I guess I should join 'em!

I've been baking and creating for many years. I have so many pictures just tucked away in my drawers or in my closet, so I've decided to share them!

One of the things I love to do is bake and decorate cookies with colored royal icing. It's definitely a time consuming job, but I love the end result. Both of my kids (hubby too) can't wait until I mess one up so that they can eat it! Sad to say, that happens quite often. Anyway, here are a few pictures of my cookie creations. I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoy making them!

These little gingerbread houses have to be my favorite cookie of all time. I made these for my friend Sue's annual Christmas Cookie Exchange this past December. They were a hit and tasted soooo good. They were full of edible glitter so they looked like magic!
